How Will My Order Ship?

Most of our items ship with UPS. However, we use a few other carriers to ensure you receive the fastest, safest, and most economical delivery option possible. Our products have delivery options that can include ground shipping, expedited shipping and freight delivery services. These choices will be noted in your shopping cart so you can choose the most suitable option for you. Ground, economy and freight shipping transit times depend on where the item ships from and where it is being delivered to. Transit times for these options range from 1-7 business days to the continental U.S.A. 

Deliveries are typically made on business days (meaning Monday through Friday).  

Medshop is not responsible for late shipments resulting from carrier delays or any other causes beyond our control.

Where do you ship to?

Most of our items can be shipped worldwide, with some exclusions. Orders with international delivery addresses and deliveries outside the continental U.S.A. can check shipping quotes in the shopping cart and at checkout. Please note, you may also contact our customer service team here:  Contact Us to discuss your particular delivery needs or to check if we have other shipping options available for your particular order.

Shipping to P.O. Boxes and Military APOs can get a bit tricky. If you need to ship to these address types, please reach out to our customer service team here: Contact Us so we can discuss how we can get your order delivered. 


 Small Parcel

Signatures are not required for Small Parcel deliveries, but the decision to leave your package will ultimately be at the discretion of the delivery carrier. If you have any special delivery instructions, we recommend placing a note on your door for the carrier with your name, request, and tracking number. However, we cannot guarantee that the carrier will be able to follow the specific instructions indicated.

Deliveries will be completed by UPS, FedEx or USPS. Available shipping options will be noted in your Shopping Cart and at checkout, but generally include, Economy Shipping, Ground Shipping, 3-Day Shipping, 2-Day Shipping and Overnight delivery. Please note, delivery transit times are generally calculated by business days, weekends and holidays are not included. For example, if an order is shipped on Friday with 2-Day shipping, the item will arrive on Tuesday (not Sunday). Economy shipping can add an additional 2-3 business days to ground shipping estimates.

You can enter your delivery zip code in your shopping cart to see the rates for the different shipping options. 

Processing times are not always calculated from the date you placed your order. If your order was placed on a weekend, holiday or after our order cut-off time, the processing time starts on the next business day.


Large Parcel

Many of our items, including medical exam room furniture, physical therapy equipment and large bulk orders ship via large parcel freight. We want to make sure your items gets to you quickly, safely and with the least amount of cost. We partner with several carriers specializing in the transportation and delivery of large parcel freight so you can be rest assured that your order is handled with the utmost care from the moment it leaves the warehouse. Orders that require large parcel freight delivery will have that as the exclusive shipping option at checkout. However, there are different services that may be required based on your particular delivery needs. You will see the following service options at checkout, here are their explanations so you can understand services you may want or need. 

Freight Delivery Services:

Curbside/ Dock to Dock

If your hospital, medical office, organization or business has a dock, this service option would suffice for you. This option can sometimes be used for home deliveries or facilities without a dock but you would need to speak with our customer service team to find out if it's an option for you. For this service, the delivery truck will pull up to your dock or outside your office/ home. From there, you will be responsible for unloading the items from the truck and into your facility or home.


Curbside with Liftgate

This is the best option for delivery addresses without a dock. The delivery team will bring a liftgate to your address which will lower your item(s) from the truck to the curb. You will be responsible for transporting the item from the curb into your facility or home.


Inside Delivery

This option is best for those needing the item(s) brought inside their business or home. Inside delivery includes delivery into the immediate entryway of the delivery address. This means, it will essentially be delivered right inside your front door. The delivery personnel will not bring the item(s) into your room of choice, they will simply leave it in the entryway. You are responsible for transporting the item(s) to the appropriate room. If there are stairs leading up to your home or office entryway, additional fees may apply. 


White Glove Delivery

White glove delivery is not always available, however, this is the choice most appropriate for those looking for the “crème de la crème” of delivery. White glove delivery can encompass a number of different services including, transporting the item(s) to the designated room, transporting the item(s) to a different floor, unpacking the item(s) and removing the packaging from your space, and item assembly. Even if white glove service is available for your particular order, not all of these options may be available to you. International Shipping:

Most of our items can be shipped worldwide, with some exclusions. Shipping charges for orders with international delivery addresses are listed in the shopping cart and at checkout.

We try our best to offer the most economical and safe shipping options online, however, you can always contact our customer service team here: Contact Us to find out if there were other options or promotional shipping rates available to you.

Taxes and duties are sometimes collected for international shipments. If this is the case with your order, these fees are your responsibility.


Additional Shipping Considerations

Large parcel shipments are just that: Large. Please make sure the item(s) you are ordering will fit through all necessary doorways, elevators, rooms and hallways for the full transport of your item(s). It is your responsibility to make sure the item(s) will fit through your space. If you are unsure of an item's dimensions, please reach out to our customer service team here: Contact Us and we'd be happy to provide any necessary information. If items do not fit through your door,  the item's standard return policy will apply .

Freight and Large Parcel shipments must be checked for damage and signed for at time of delivery. If a shipment has been signed for as satisfactory, without noting any damages, we cannot be held responsible for any reported item damages later. Please be sure to inspect items at time of delivery, and before signing for the delivery, so that we can be made aware of any issues right away and correct it. 

Residential and limited access addresses may incur additional freight shipping charges.

Our website is geared to medical facilities and therefore all shipping rates are based on business shipping addresses. If your item is shipping to a residential address, there may be additional shipping rates. We will inform you if this is the case.

While we do our best to have our website calculate accurate shipping costs, technology sometimes fails us and the shipping is miscalculated. If this happens, we will contact you right away to inform you of the correct charge. It will be to your discretion how you would like to proceed with the order. 


When Will My Order Arrive?

We carry a number of different medical supply items and equipment and each has its own lead time. Every product has an estimated lead time - the number of business days it takes for an item to be processed for shipment - listed on the product page. Medshop ships from warehouses all over the country so transit and lead times depend on the specific warehouse it is shipping from.  Stocked items are shipped out right away and custom items can take as long as 8 weeks, each of these lead times will be listed on our site. While we do our very best to provide accurate lead times, backorders and delayed processing times do happen but we will contact you right away if a lead time is estimated to be longer than our site lists. 

Transit time depends on the method of shipment you chose at checkout. Overnight deliveries will be delivered the next business day after processing and ground shipping can take up to 7 business days after processing (but is usually within 5) for the continental United States. 

For expedited services such as 3-day, 2nd Day or Next Day Air, transit times are locked in to the speed selected after the item leaves the warehouse. While we will try our best to expedite it, the estimated lead time still applies before the item ships out. Please check the product's lead time before placing your order and contact us about whether we can guarantee a shorter lead time, if necessary.

For Large Parcel Curbside Deliveries, delivery usually takes between 1-6 business days from the time your item(s) leave the warehouse.

Tracking Packages

You will receive an email with tracking information once your order has shipped. Alternatively, if you create a Medshop account, you can log in to your account: Account Login,  and track your package and the status of your order. 


Free Shipping Promotion

We work hard to offer great pricing to keep your costs down. To do that, we offer free ground shipping for orders over $99, with some exceptions.

Exceptions to the free shipping promotion include the following:

  • Orders shipping outside the contiguous 48 United States 
  • Welch Allyn, G5, R&B Wire brands
  • Most Freight, oversize and overweight orders do not qualify for free shipping. R&B Wire laundry carts are overweight and oversize and do not qualify.  Many Drive Medical, ShowerBuddy, Roscoe Medical, ADC, Lumex, Graham Field, Proactive Medical orders will still qualify for promotional shipping despite this limit.  Free shipping on freight orders only pertains to dock to dock shipments. Orders requiring other freight services do not qualify. 
  • Orders with items that ship from multiple warehouses and case quantities may not qualify.

Many companies inflate item prices to cover "free shipping" on an order. We highly recommend customers compare the total order cost when shopping around. Medshop does not collect any sales tax on orders, except to orders shipping to New York State. If you are tax exempt in the State of New York, you will not be required to pay taxes for orders shipping there.
